This Privacy Policy explains how Noor Labs ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use SnapSpend. SnapSpend helps users scan receipts, extract expense information, organize spending, and optionally back up their data.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following information when you use SnapSpend:
- Account information such as name, email address, profile photo, sign-in provider, and user ID.
- Receipt information such as receipt images, merchant names, dates, totals, currencies, categories, tags, and line items.
- Subscription and entitlement information such as Premium status, Family Plan status, and purchase identifiers managed through RevenueCat, app stores, or future web billing providers.
- Optional backup information if you choose to connect Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive.
- Technical and usage information such as device type, operating system, app events, crash logs, diagnostics, language, and general location derived from IP address.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create, authenticate, and manage your SnapSpend account.
- Scan receipts, extract expense data, display analytics, and sync your app data.
- Provide Premium features, Family Plan access, exports, and backup tools.
- Improve app reliability, security, performance, and fraud prevention.
- Provide support and respond to account or deletion requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Service Providers
We use trusted service providers to operate SnapSpend. These may include Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database, storage, functions, analytics, crash reporting, and app infrastructure; RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management; Google Play and Apple App Store for payment processing where applicable; Google Sign-In and Microsoft authentication for login or backup access; and Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive only when you choose to use those backup features.
Payments
We do not store your full payment card details. Payments and subscriptions may be processed by app stores or trusted web payment providers. RevenueCat may help us confirm whether your subscription is active.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to provide SnapSpend, comply with law, prevent abuse, process subscriptions, or use the service providers listed above.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep account and receipt data while your account is active or as needed to provide SnapSpend. You can delete selected receipts, delete app data, or delete your account from within the app. You can also request account deletion from our public account deletion page: https://getsnapspend.com/delete-account. Some records may be retained for a limited period where required for security, fraud prevention, tax, legal, or dispute-resolution reasons. Backups stored in your own Google Drive or OneDrive account may need to be deleted by you from that provider.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
SnapSpend is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To make a request, use the in-app tools or contact us at anass_farouq@noorlabsapp.com.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
